FEES AND APPOINTMENTS

The Australian Psychological Society recommended hourly fee for psychologists in 2007 / 2008 is $192 per consultation hour. Our fees are $150 per 55 minute consultation. We are registered providers for all the major Health Funds. A significant proportion of our fees may be refundable if you are covered by private health insurance. Under the recent Medicare initiative you may also be eligible to claim a proportion of our fees. To be eligible for this program you will require a doctor’s referral and a care plan, which will assess you as presenting with a condition that will allow you to claim a significant proportion of our fee from Medicare.

During your first session, we will discuss your expectations of therapy and set goals to work toward. To maximize your personal growth, we will generate a flexible plan that you are comfortable with, periodically review your progress toward these goals and fine tune your individual program, by mutual agreement.

Please note that a cancellation policy applies to all appointments. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will attract a cancellation fee.
